Cant change brightness after downloading dell on screen display

I wanted to connect my ps5 to my insiprio 5490 AIO and it wouldnt let me so I saw online to download dell on screen display. It worked I could change to display but the screen is dim and I cant change brightness. The slider moves in display settings but thats it.
