Bluetooth speaker shows connected but there is no sound

I have an Inspiron 3030 desktop and a Bose bluetooth speaker.  I installed the speaker and it connected and was able to play iTunes.  The next time I turn on the computer, the speaker shows paired with the computer, but there is no sound coming from the speaker, even though iTunes shows the song is playing.  Continued failure even after deleting the device and re-installing. - no sound.
