Bluetooth driver for Intel dual band wifi AC 7260 in dell inspiron 660s
I replaced the default wifi card with Intel ac 7260 dual band wifi + Bluetooth on my inspiron 660s desktop.
the WiFi works great, 5ghz radio gets me 10 times the speed of what i got with older card.
but Bluetooth shows up as unknown device with “USB” type in device manager and I am not able to find the driver.
any idea as to why windows is unable to find driver by itself, and where can i manually find?

Have you tried this driver at Dell support?

That’s the first thing i saw too when i googled for drivers. But only 32 bit installer is available for it apparently. No 64 bit. So i did not think of downloading and installing it.

Ha. I went ahead and installed the 32 bit one and it worked flawlessly. Thank you sir!!

It is misleading but Dell has added this disclaimer. This has tripped me up in the past as well.
Dell Update Packages (DUP) in Microsoft Windows 32bit format have been designed to run on Microsoft Windows 64bit Operating Systems.
