BIOS não consegue atualizar

Inspiron 5400 AIO

Inspiron 5400 AIO

@danmm2000  What version of BIOS is installed now, and what version are you trying to install, the newest version, released today 17-01-24?

How are you trying to install the update, using SupportAssist/Dell Update, manually inside Windows, via Windows Update, or using the F12 boot menu?

If you haven't already tried, carefully follow the Installation Instructions for Updating the BIOS from BIOS Boot Menu (independent of operating system) posted at the link, above. If you use BitLocker, make sure it's disabled before you start the update.

The USB stick should be formatted FAT32, not bigger than 8 GB, and empty. Download and save the BIOS .exe file onto the stick. Then power PC off fully, not a Restart from inside Windows. With the USB stick connected, power PC on and start tapping F12 to open the menu.  Select the Flash Update option...

Once the update app opens, step #6 in the instructions may not apply and you should see the BIOS file on the USB listed. Select it and continue...

PC may reboot itself automatically, several times, and may look like it's not doing anything. Just leave it alone until it reboots itself to the desktop
