Best way to bulk transfer programs from old pc to new pc?
I just got a new computer and need to move all my installed programs from the old one. I want a clean transfer, not just my files. What are the most reliable methods to transfer programs from old pc to new pc? I have heard about cloning software and special migration tools, but I am not sure which is best. My old PC runs Windows 10 and the new one runs Windows 11. Any advice on the safest approach?
I prefer a method that will avoid program reactivation or compatibility issues. My main concern is to not start from scratch with software installations.
Thank you in advance for your support. I appreciate any tips or personal experiences you can offer. This will save me a lot of time and stress.

I suggest you install your programs on the nice new and fast computer ... like it's worth the effort.
Migrate/Restore your data and media files. Login with your existing Microsoft, Google, and Apple iCloud accounts. The old PC is the backup until you finish.
Takes a few hours. Don't make it hard. Enjoy your new computer for years to come.

OP got a bunch of detailed responses .
From a non AI perspective You really cannot transfer programs installed in a Win 10 OS to Win 11. If you clone the old ssd/hdd, it would still run Win 10 in new pc. And if you try to upgrade from within Win10 to Win11, no promise those programs would smoothly run. you might as well remove the ssd in new pc for now and physically transplant the ssd/hdd in old pc to new pc and hope it can boot smoothly and chances are it probably will after some auto adjustment, but in some cases such transplant may run into blue screen.
