Automated OSR disk clone offers no method to restore "cloned OS" back to OEM installed disk ?

I used the Dell automated OSR tool to clone an M2 style NVme Disk to a SATA drive in a USB enclosure.

I am hoping that I could return (restore) this OS clone on the USB enclosed disk back to the installed M2 NVme disk.

Apparently there is no way to do this - so what is the point on cloning the disk in the first place if it can't be restored?
