Win 10 - WIM File restore

Hi all,

I am sure I am not the only one has had this. The creation of the image was successful. if I try to restore into a new vm machine I get:

EFI USB Device ... Unsuccessful

When I try to restore into a physical Dell Laptop is goes well all the way and finally says shut down or reboot after removing the USB.

When the laptop reboots it say there is no Operating System and try to PXE boot.

I have tried this on 2 laptops that were working perfectly and now both say no operating system.

What is going on and any idea, I have 120 PCs to be imaged :(

Thanks

Wessam

It seems the image was created in the incorrect format. I would recommend that you check the BIOS of the VM session and confirm that it was created with EFI or GEN2 selected. Create the image once again and restore to the physical computer using the Image Assist USB thumb drive with drivers copied to the USB thumb drive. http://en.community.dell.com/techcenter/enterprise-client/w/wiki/7429.dell-imageassist If still needing help email us at US_OSImaging@Dell.com

Are these all laptops, desk or a mixture? Also if they are all the same of the type are they the same model? Thanks.
