What's next after Image Creation

So I have created the Gold image (WIM file). Do I need to create a usb or iso next? Is this only used to check that the file works? Is there a guide covering this step? I assume you would use this with a phsical Dell system to see that everything is working correctly.

As for the WIM itself what is the process for sending it to Dell?
