New models network driver in image assist
We recently started receiving new model computer, e7450, e7250, e5550, and e5450s. The problem is that when you boot into image assist, it doesn't have the network drivers for these models in the image assist. We keep our images on our network, so this is a must. Any help on how to add the drivers to the current image assist we use, or if there is an expected release date on a newer version of image assist, would be great.

RFTmschultz - thank you for the response. The Exx50/xx50 platforms are being affected by the following problem:

Our third release of the tool is currently planned for the end of this month, and will incorporate a new feature for adding drivers to the DIA PE environment. The installer can be run with an /add_drivers switch which will create a folder in the install directory "__Additional_Drivers__". Drivers from this folder will be installed by the PE creating tools:

I had the same problem with the E5450. Using WAIK, I was able to inject the drivers into the PE image. This blog post helped me with the commands.
I also had to get a newer version of DISM to match the PE version (Windows 8.1 32bit). This blog post helped me figure that out.
Hope this helps,
Mike

Hi Tyler,
I have just stumbled on this with E7x50 machines and was wondering how progress has been with the latest version of Dell IA that was released May 29th. I'm currently downloading it. Is this issue with the E7x50 NICs not working fixed in this version? Will it just work or does something need to be done like adding custom drivers using the /add_drivers switch as mentioned?
Thanks.

Works for me too once I got the CABs from the correct site, thanks to Tyler and Warren.
