New Computers with Custom Image help
Hello all,
I am having an issue at the moment. Hopefully someone will be able to help me. We went throw the process of creating a custom image for our Dell machines we purchase. I say about 40 workstation. The first one we opened and turn on everything went okay . The 2nd workstation we setup we ran into some issue configuring the workstation for the user so we did a restore on the machine. When it came up from the restore it was not the same custom image when we took it out of the box.
Is there a certain way to restore the custom image it came with? I ran the diskpart and checked a good machine with the one we are having issue with. Everything looks the same. Hopefully this makes sense and someone is able to help me.
What's the use if down the road we have to re-image the machine if our custom image won't start up.
Thanks,
DELL-Tyler M

ImageAssist images can be recovered using the USB drive. DIA USB How To Videos > Create / Use.
For future orders, you might consider adding the DSR (Dell System Restore) SKU to your imaging orders. DSR creates a copy of the image + drivers in a hidden partition; allowing for recovery back to how it was when it left the factory.
For more detailed information, please contact our OS imaging helpdesk team directly.
Thank you,
