Maintenance Image Capture
Hi,
Is there a difference between using the auto-capture tool and just booting off the USB key to capture the maintenance image?

The Auto Capture Tool just preps the system to be able to reboot into the ImageAssist Environment locally, and then it still uses the same Capture tool that you would have on the USB Key. So the only main difference is that the Auto Capture Tool can run Sysprep and make capturing a Sysprep image easier, but if you manually ran Sysprep and shut the system down and then booted up with the USB Tool to Capture it, the outcome would be the same. Very subtle differences, but otherwise they are the same.
