how to name computer from domain?

ImageAssist offers you three main options to define the computer name. You can define them in the "Computer Name" section of the Unattend XML Creator tool interface. The options are:

1 - Prompt the end-user to manually input a computer name on each client (only for Windows 7 and 8.1 images and only when not automatically joining a domain);

2 - Have the computer name auto generated on each client;

3 - Create a custom name: this can be up to 15 characters long and it must include the client's tag number.

If none of these options suits you, the Configuration Services offer further customization possibilities while deploying the image at factory. These possibilities vary according to your geographic region. Please contact your local Imaging Helpdesk or your local Configuration Services project manager for more details.
