Dell Image Assist: How to include peripheral driver support
Including Additional Drivers for Image Assist:
- Peripheral Drivers: Not included in Family Driver Packs.
Methods:
- Within the Image: Extract drivers to “C:\Out-of-Box Drivers”.
- On the USB Drive: Create “Additional_Drivers_Restore_OS” on the NTFS partition root and extract drivers there.
- On a Network Share: Create “Additional_Drivers_Restore_OS” on the share root and extract drivers there.
Drivers will be copied to “C:\Out-of-Box Drivers” during deployment and used in Windows setup.
