When the Image Assist process completes, the system will be in a sysprepped state. Image Assist will capture the state of the image. If the system is booted without restoring the captured image using the Image Assist Restore Tool - this problem may likely manifest. This is because during the Image Assist process, drivers are removed from the system. This driver removal process allows the image to be hardware agnostic, creating an image that can be redeployed to multiple platforms.
Resolution: Restore the image using the Image Assist Restore Tool from the Image Assist USB key and the corresponding family driver cab.
