Will changing the ip address in a HP-UX host registration in Unisphere be disruptive?
The ip address over which the Unisphere host agent can be reached for two of our HP-UX hosts will need to be changed and I was wondering whether this will be disruptive for the host or not. The host itself won't change, it's just that connectivity to that host now includes PAT/NAT. Do we need to open certain tcp ports as well?
I'm planning to enter the connectivity status in Unisphere for VNX and edit the current host registration. I'll change the ip address and save this information.
I don't think there's more to it than that, but will this be disruptive for the host and its storage? I'm planning on shutting down the databases running on this host anyway, as a precaution.

Hi RRR, I found emc130877. I can be done non-disruptively.
