Is it possible to use time finder to establish betweem Raid 10 STD devices and Raid 5 BCV devices?

RAID 10 means Mainframe to me .. and mainframe means something I don't really know :D

Good luck Dynamox ;-)

RAID5-BCVs should work just fine, just make sure the symdevs are equally sized and grouped into a metadevice, so if your RAID10 meta is made up out of 4 x 8.5GB, your RAID5-BCV should also be made out of 4 x 8.5GB symdevs.

The only BCV restriction I know is when you're trying to expand a meta to a larger size with the use of BCVs. In that specific case your BCVs should be 2-way mirrored BCVs.
