Linux Non RPM Based Solution Enabler Installer

Is there a non RPM based Solutions Enabler installer that will work with Debian based Ubuntu? I've tried converting the RPM to DEB without much luck.

I tried alien and couldn't get it to produce anything that would work. If someone can get it working please provide the steps.

aaronh,
EMC do not currently have a release for either of thse flavours of unix. porting the install to an unsupported platform would not be advisable.

You would not be in a supported environment should something go wrong.

what if you try to install rpm (the package manager) itself ?

sudo aptitude install rpm

and then actually use "rpm -ivh SolutionsEnable.rpm" to install it. As Paul already mentioned neither Debian nor Ubuntu,Kubuntu,Xubuntu are supported ..but hey ..give it a shot :)
