How do I find the date/time when a RDF pair was last split? No API log!

Question

I have a split RDF pair (DG) which is currently in a split state. Is there a way of finding out when it was split? I don't have an API log old enough!

Hi, you can try this. If you know the luns used for pairing (and since have split), enter this command:

#symdev show

scroll down to the bottom, it should show the device it is paired with, and information about last split. I am presuming you are using a symmetrix. Hope it helps.
