Dell HDR Monitor
After days of Dell 4k HDR monitor freezes and having to hard reset constantly, even doing to complete reinstall still failed. Refreshed all drivers still randomly freezes. Changed DP 2.0 cable in 10 bit to HDMI 2.1 cable in a 2.0 port which only runs in 8 bit, when changed in Nvidia GE Force GTX1650 Super to 4:2:2 to get 10 bit, it froze again, so backed down to 8 bit which isn't true HDR, but seems to have so far resolved the freezing issue (for now).
Is anyone else having this issue?

It sounds like you’ve really gone through a thorough troubleshooting process! It’s great to hear that switching to 8-bit has temporarily resolved the freezing. This issue could indeed be frustrating, especially given all the time you’ve invested in reinstalling drivers and testing different cable configurations.
Since HDR can be demanding, particularly at 10-bit color depth, it’s possible that the GTX 1650 Super is hitting some bandwidth or processing limitations. Another potential solution to try might be experimenting with a lower refresh rate, as this can sometimes help stabilize HDR performance, particularly on higher resolutions.
Additionally, if your monitor has any firmware updates available from Dell, applying those can sometimes resolve stability issues. Some users have reported improved stability by adjusting color settings through Nvidia Control Panel or testing other color formats like RGB full range at 8-bit.
I hope this helps and would love to hear if any of these steps improve your experience. Thanks for sharing your setup and findings—it’ll be helpful for others with similar setups!
