Compatible flash problems

Hello there
Is anyone out there willing to discuss problems (support or technical) they may have had with compatible flash when using EMC dasd in a mainframe environment?

I found a bunch of data in the knowledgebase mentioning compatible flash, but that's only data relevant to a known issue or problem and a resolution. Not necessarily what you're looking for.

To open the discussion up to a wider audience, I asked Stefano, the great and humble but not as benevolent moderator to cross post to the symm forum.
