VMAX Trainings

I would say it depends on what prerequisites you already have. But courses could for example be "Symmetrix configuration management"  or the "Symmetrix foundations". Since these prepare you for exams like E20-517 (Symmetrix Solutions Specialist Exam for Storage Administrators). This exam includes things like Enginuity 5874 which is the Enginuity that runs on the V-Max and it also includes a lot of features now found on the new V-Max.

I'm sure one of the folks here can give you a more detailed plan if you can give us some more info on what you would like to reach or what knowledge or certifications you possibly already have.

Do you already have a Proven certification or some Symmetrix background? If you can be a little more specific about what you are looking for it will be easier to help you out.

I have completed my STF, yeah I have symmetix back ground, I have been working on EMC storage for the past two years, like Symmetix, Clariion and Celerra.
My colleagues said V-MAX is altogether a different beast when compared to DMX. There are couple of new V-MAX boxes coming to our datacenter.
we uses SE/symcli commands to manage our symmetix. People said there are some difference in masking commands in V-MAX.
So I was looking for a training which includes managing V-MAX via SE and SMC. So that I will be able to work on BCV,SRDF,Thin,OR etc.
I  have worked on those on DMX boxes. So I am looking how are these done on V-MAX and the new stuff on V-MAX which are not there in DMX.
