Rainfinity FMA Virtual Edition - Disk requirements

Hi Guys,

Does anyone have any information on what the disk requirements are for the FMA/VE ? I'm assuming there isn't a massive capacity requirement for the VM, as its moving data from Source to Target and the real capacity requirement is at the Target (Centera/Celerra), also aware that especially with Centera it maintains a database for stub file resolution and was wondering if there were any rules of thumb as far as spindle count. Obviously number of files being ingested will play a big part in terms of the disk load, just looking for some pointers really,

Any Help Would be greatly appreciated

Cheers

Hi, I

I'm not a NAS person at all...but have you looked at the docs on Powerlink? I'll try to get someone who knows Rainfinity to come and weigh on this topic, but in the meantime you may also want to take a look at the Support Forums. They just moved to ECN this weekened; the Celerra subcommunity is here and the Centerra subcommunity is here.
