This is an interesting question, but rather than answering directly, I would prefer to give some insight.  

According to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST - https://www.nist.gov  or https://nvlpubs.nist.gov/nistpubs/legacy/sp/nistspecialpublication800-145.pdf),

"A hybrid cloud is a composition of two or more distinct cloud infrastructures (private, community, or public) that remain unique entities, but are bound together by standardized or proprietary technology that enables data and application portability"

Therefore, a hybrid cloud could technically consist of just public clouds or private clouds but, in practice, when the term hybrid is used, it almost always refers a private cloud connected to one of the public cloud providers (like AWS, Azure, Google, etc.).

Notice the definition of hybrid cloud says "two or more clouds".  Although the term multi-cloud isn't defined in the NIST references that I noted above, it started being used a few years ago and typically refers to when you have more than one of the public cloud providers connected with an private cloud.
