Hi Malli! TSM is Tivoli, right? Are you using EMC storage now where you work? What kind?
What are you looking to learn? You definitely are in the right place!

Hi Gina,
Thanks for the quick response and apologise for the late reply from my end.
I am currently into backup tools and as a path for professional growth now i am interested in learning the storage technology as well.
The reason for opting EMC is Barclays currently got the new vendor as EMC for any storage requirements. It will happen in the coming months and i need to start up from scratch before we get the storages into our Datacenters.
So looking forward in learning the EMC storage from scratch to have better understanding.
Regards
Malli Shankar

Hello Michelle,
I couldn't access both the links that you have sent me. My intention is just to go through the relevent books and get storng in the concept basis and not in certification level now. But defenitely i will go for certification very soon.
So if i can get the study materials that would be fine initially then i will look for certifications once get expertice in it.

Hi Malli,
The best place to start looking is our Education portal: https://education.emc.com. That can give you an idea of what's available for training on EMC storage products.
I think getting your start in the backup area of the data center is great, you learn lots about the technologies used but even more importantly you learn so much about the business (I used to do backup admin duties when I was a sys admin). I think you've got a great plan to go from there into storage technology. Let us know how we can help with that goal.
