Need help with EMC CX300

Hi there,

I am having a problem with an EMC CX 300. The device is connected to a DELL 2950 via Emulex PCI-E adapter. The machine is running VMWARE ESXi.

When copying a file from the local disks (storage on the physical disks) I am getting something around 20-23MB/Sec performance. On the EMC I am getting 5MB/Sec.

I have tried to attach the EMC to a different machine with a different Fiberchannel card, getting the same performance.

What may cause this low performance on the EMC?
