My experience with ISM course
Hello, guys.I'm glad here to talk about some experience of taking the lesson Imformation System and Management(ISM)
and what future effect it brings to me.I have begun to be acquainted myself with EMC company since I step into the
Sophomore year because of my lifetime tutor DR.Yin who is expert in both Hardware and Software.By coincidence,Yin is
in charge of the ISM class in my motherschool----Sun Yat-Sen University in China GuangDong.
The most impressive feeling of taking this course is that unlike former major courses,it's the first time for me to
set my foot on the industry domain. The lesson is led by the EMC storage solution such as Clariion,SnapView and etc
in the real application in IT industry. This time I have an experience of applying my previous knowledge of Data
structure,Operating System especially file systems,Computer Network and etc to this very pragmatical course in which
I breathe a fresh air and learn the basic concept of DAS/NAS/SAN/CAS.
After I finished the course,I prepare for the ISM certification which is a basic test on the EMC product and storage
concept and finally get a good score. This also provides me a chance to have an internship in EMC China Cooperation
and I really appreciate it.Now I'm ready to apply a chance to study abroad and I hope this precious experience in
industry will help prove my capability on computer engineering and give me an admission of master.
