ISM Book Chapter 2: The Storage System Environment
Apparently no one was up to the challenge of the warm-up question, so the questions for Chapter 2 are very straight-forward:
- What is disk service time?
- What are the components that make up the disk service time?

Disk service time is the sum of average time spent on the controller and the time a disk takes to access the information on the relevant block on the disk. and not sure about the second one but i think VOP is one?
