In need of informations about VILT

Hi,

My employer is at considering having some peoples certified in EMC technology.  As of now we have identified 3 courses that we would like to access so we could form our people.

I know that a VILT can normally be downloaded and be done offline, but what about the VILT in streaming mode, i guess one would need to be connected to internet to be able to see it ?  And the access to that course would be valid only for the time of the subscription ?

If anyone can give me some informations about this question, it would be greatly appreciate has it will guide us for the further steps of acquiring the training we need.

Hi Christian,

A few quick answers to your questions:

  • The V-Subscription is for a single individual.
  • The VILT-Stream does require Internet access
  • The VILT-Stream works on the same principle as the DVD option. When you purchase a DVD, you keep it, and can access it even after your subscription expires. With the Stream option, the VILT will remain accessible in your account even after the subscription period ends.

Some other things to consider are how many people do you want to train in these three courses? Is this something for your entire company or a few specialized workers? We have other options available for this kind of training. You can email education@EMC.com and someone will help you determine what your exact training needs are and the best solution for them.

Hi Kate,

Thank you for the prompt answer.  I have sent it to my superior and will wait to know what he will decide to do.

In fact we are two maybe three that are looking to get our hand on some certification for today's technology.
