EMCTA SI2 Passed - A humbling experience!
I completed my EMCTA SI2 today. I have been studying for the SI2 as well as CLARiiON and NAS TA's simultaneously. Basically studying all the products to the "SI2 Level" and hitting CLARiiON and Celerra extra hard so as not have to repeat efforts. I passed the E20-501 a little while back, but today took the E20-322. This test was very hard!!!
There is a huge amount of information you have to know for SI2. I am looking forward to hammering out my CLARiiON and Celerra tests as they are more focused on those platforms. SI2 is like learning everything under the sun from EMC. I realize that is an exaggeration, I took the Commercial track, but still there are so many products to know, so many speeds/feeds, best practices and design knowledge.
I think EMC has done a good job of keeping things at a challenging level within the EMC TA. It's worth so much more and feels so much more of an accomplishment after passing something that took a very long time to prepare for. I am looking forward to passing my CLARiiON and NAS TA's and IE's.
The tests for SI2 are changing on April 15th I believe, so I was under pressure to get these done.
Best of luck to all who pursue this difficult but worthwhile track. After going through all of the preparations I really feel I can speak to EMC's commercial portfolio and learned much about ILM and the way various pieces work together to form an overall EMC solution.

I think you may be right. It was the E20-501 that was changing for sure on April 15th, I think I got those confused. E20-501 is the other part to SI2 and you can see my previous post where I asked about E20-501 and EMC confirmed it would be changing.
No doubt, it will "eventually" change, as it always does, but being that its Flare 29 based/Navisphere, and other now outdated items, I would pass it sooner than later

Congratulations Bfeeny on passing your EMCTA certification!
Allendir, an updated version of the E20-322 exam is not scheduled to be released until Q3’11. Please note that we post changes to the exam, and other important information, here.
Best of luck!

DGraci,
That link appears to be an internal EMC link, is there a link so those partners and others outside EMC can see upcoming exam changes?
