EMC Support
I have a situation where EMC initially diagnosed a problem (host agent won't start on 64 bit Linux) and said it was a well known issue. EMC recommend upgrade to latest Flare code (version 20) for my CX4-120. Dell is my primary support who in turn requested proof from EMC for the bug before they can authorize a Flare upgrade. EMC won't provide it and kept saying it's internal documentation and gave us the run around. Dell and EMC do not seem to work together but rather against each other. I'm new to EMC (coming from IBM) so I'm kind of surprise about the terrible support service EMC provided by EMC.
What your opinions and experience on EMC support?
