Community Roundup - Week Ending January 22, 2010
Its the end of another cold, snowy week here in Franklin, Ma and time for another community round-up. In case you missed it, here are some of the hot topics in the community this week.
On the exam front, a new Symmetrix Solutions Expert Exam for TAs has been scheduled for release. Simon posted a pretty detailed explanation about the Backup and Recovery TA certification tracks (it includes info on the upcoming retirement of the Backup and Recovery Networker Technology Architect Track). There was also some breaking news about some maintenance downtime for the voucher site.
On the blogging front, a couple of our community members have some interesting new posts. Roy Mikes talks about where his paper is in the Knowledge Sharing competition. Sebastian Raayman blogged about downloading the CLARiiON CX/ Navisphere simulator. (Let me know if I missed a blog post you have out there!).
Michelle posted the top 3 downloaded Knowledge Sharing articles from previous Knowledge Sharing competitions - and asked everyone what is so interesting about these papers on deploying Celerra iSCSI, Brocade Fibre Channel Routing, and creating baseline reports for Symmetrix reporting. So far, no one has any reasons, don't you want to be the first to give some feedback?
The survey on managing information storage and management challenges is still going on. If you've already participated, send your friends this link. We want to hear from everyone who is an IT or Storage manager or professional - and they don't have to use EMC storage!
Finally, one last request from me. If you create a discussion, and you mark it as a question could you do us a huge favor and mark it as answered if it gets answered?
Thats it for this week - please leave a comment if I left something out of my update. Have a great weekend everyone!
Raayman

Hey Gina,
thanks for mentioning the blog post. Just a small note on one your remark here:
I think you actually meant doing a favor instead of a question?
