When would I use a FS7600 multiple file systems capability?
Documentation says 256/512 file systems. If all my users are Windows/CIFS, what would I use them for? I was thinking one file system could be legal department, another purchasing, and so on. Is that not what they are for or is "file system" only something specific to NFS vs. CIFS? Thanks.

I believe you are referring to “Containers in a cluster”
A single NAS can have 256, and the Dual NAS appliance cluster can have 512
In the NAS storage, you need to create NAS containers within the NAS cluster. Inside a NAS Container you can create multiple CIFS shares and/or NFS exports.
