VLANs Tag iSCSI interface on Compellent SC8000 Controller?

Hi,

I wish to know if we can VLAN Tag an iSCSI interface on Compellent SC8000 Controller?

If yes, how many VLANs are supported per ISCSI Interface?

Thanks in advance for your support,

JNV

The Compellent Storage Center OS does provide the ability to VLAN tag your iSCSI interfaces, but does not support multiple VLAN tagging on a single port.  You can create multiple fault domains and each fault domain could be tagged with a different VLAN ID.  This is valid up to at least version 6.3, but could change in the future.

Hope this makes sense and helps out.

Good luck!

Could you please share the step by step procedure for VLAN tagging on ISCSI ports which are already used in fault domains with different VLANs (untagged). We are using storage center OS version 6.5.

Thanks in advance.
