performance figures for MD3620f
Is there anyone with performance figures of MD3620f for sequential read/write?
We are planning for a MD3620f storage for sequential file storage which involves read/write. A 3620f (24x900) with MD1220 (24x900) expansion is being discussed. Since the product is relatively new, we would like to know if anyone got some figures on this product. We have an earlier bad experience on MD3000 product in performance comparison with PERC6/E-MD1000 combination. At present, we have a similar situation where Perc-710P giving good performance in 24x900, internal HDD of PE720XD. If anyone got experience on this product, please share.

Jestinp,
We do not have anything that specifies the exact through-put for this array because there is a lot that affect that number. For instance # of switches in the network as well as how it is cabled and even the kind of data that is being passed to and from the array. What I would recommend would be to follow the deployment guide that is listed below to ensure that the array is configured correctly.

Then you can use a utility like IOMeter to see what your baseline is as far as the performance of the array. You can find that utility at http://www.iometer.org/ please feel free to let me know if you have any further questions.
