OSX and FluidFS - access permissions to share on a group membership

Any suggestions on how to give access permissions to a share based on group membership from an OSX client? This is on a Dell FluidFS NAS with an EqualLogic backend.

Note the environment does not have ANY directory services configured (LDAP, AD, OD, etc).
