Multiple for individual hosts
Running Powervault Modular Disk Storage Manager 10.803G6.47 with an md3220i.
I have a Host Group A that access Virtual Disk A. Then Host Group B access Virtual Disk B.
If I temporarily need to allow a single host (part of Host Group A) to access Virtual Disk B, how can I do that? If I try to right click, Define Additional Mappings for that host, only unused virtual disks show up (not Virtual Disk B).
Thanks

Hello billmatthews,
What you can do is to setup the virtual disk as a shared virtual disk that way both host groups can share the storage for that virtual disk. By trying it the way you are trying to do you run the risk of getting disk signature problems that can corrupt the Virtual disk. You can setup the virtual disk in MDSM(Modular Disk Storage Manager)
Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Hi Sam, can you provide instructions for that? The disk was setup as a shared disk. But when I try to add it to the second host group, it doesn't show up on the list of available virtual disks. Only disks that are not assigned anywhere show up. Once I add the disk to Host Group A, it won't show up as available to host group B.
