LTO-5-140 FMR tape
Hi,
I updated the frimware on my Dell LTO-5 HH drive, but the power interrupted accidentally.
After that, drive not detectable on SAS bus. But drive loads any tape, and green LED blinking. Resetting the drive, power on/off not helps.
Where can I buy a firmware update tape (FMR tape)?
Or any JTAG/serial/etc port is available for FW update?

Hello szolnoki,
What I would do is to power off the drive and then power it back on again. When the drive powers on then you will want to hold the eject button in for about 10 seconds & that should reset the drive & if it is stuck in service mode it should clear that as well. If that doesn’t work then I would try using a different SAS cable to see if the drive is seen or of you have a second port on your SAS card I would try that & see if the drive shows in the bios of the SAS card.
