Looking for fastest storage solution from DELL

I am looking for a server (something like an R610/R710) but it needs the fastest possible storage.

At the moment this machine is part of our virtual environment and it uses the high performance SAN (on SSDs) from hosting provider.

This server if a  fileserver (small files) and also uses Sybase Advatage Server read these (.dbf) files from applications.

The performance we are getting on this high performance SAN is maximum about 6MB/s (with 4K blocks).

A downside is that I need 1 volume (Drive) of about 750GB to store the files.

Does anyone have any idea what solution would be best to achieve better performance?

Are there test result available for difference solutions (hardware)?

I would suggest that you contact a sales agent, they have the tools to properly evaluate your needs for size, performance, type (iscsi or fc), expected IO's etc.

If you go the dellstorage.com, and click the link at the top right "contact us", you will be routed to a agent that can help you.

The other option is to use the interactive guide "Storage guide" on the same page (a link right next to the chat link).
