How to get into MD1000 ??
Hi,
I have PowerEdge 2950 with PowerVault MD1000 connected to it. MD1000 blink with orange led so something is not completely OK.
The problem is that I have OMSA 7.3.0 installed on that PE 2950 server (OS is Windows 2003 Server R2) and I can see the MD1000 disks and it also shows Warning there.
But if I will go into deeper it doesn't show me what is wrong.
This is how it looks like on OMSA.
When I will go in PERC 6/E Adapter I see that:
In information tab I see :
So when I'm going deeper into Conenctor 1 (RAID) I see that:
But when I'm going into Enclosure (MD1000) all is green with OK marks, see below.
How can I get know what is wrong with MD1000 ??
And is OMSA is the only way to manage and troubleshoot MD1000 ??
And also I have centrally installed OME which can see PE 2950, but he don't show MD1000 in founded assets. How to fix it ?

Hello gathern,
Can I get you to run a Dset report on the PE2950 server. This will pull a more detailed report for the MD1000 & will be able to see what error that the MD1000 is giving and what will need to be done to resolve it. Here is a link to the Dset tool if you don’t already have it. I will send you a private message that you can reply back with the logs.
