How do I get link-aggregation between a M1000 blade enclosure and a PS6000 SAN?
I've got a EqualLogic PS6000 SAN and a M1000 blade enclosure, and (of course) I'm trying to maximize data rates when accessing the SAN.
The M1000 has 6 6220 switches, and I've got all 4 ports of one of them connected to the 4 ports on the active ethernet module on the PS6000. Each port on the PS6000's ethernet module has a unique IP.
I'm able to use iSCSI to access volumes on the SAN from Linux running on one of the blades, but (when I look at the throughput on the interfaces on the SAN, only one of the interfaces shows any traffic.
How do I get this rig to use all 4 ethernet links?

Provided that your cabling and EqualLogic array is setup properly for the Blade and switches, you need to setup MPIO on the Linux iSCSI interfaces in order to use multipathing to the array.
If you are running Redhat, SUSE or Oracle Linux, you can install the Host Integration Tools for Linux (HIT kit) to help automate the setup for you (download from the support site eqlsupport.dell.com), or go to the resources>tech report section to find the information to set this up manually if you don't what to use the HIT.
