FluidFs v3 and Windows Server 2016 (Windows 10)
Hello, In our institute we have a Powervault NX3600 NAS appliance running with FluidFs v3.0.940120. It runs pretty smooth but we have problems with computers running Windows 10 or Windows Server 2016. When a user is logged on to the Windows Server, they can access the CIFS shares with no problem. However, the second user who logs in, is not able to access the shares. You receive error messages that you can not connect to the NAS. We think that's a problem with the Samba version 2.10 the NAS uses. I have 3 questions: 1) Is there an upgrade available to FluidFS v4 with our current hardware? 2) Is there any configuration setting to make FluidFs v3 work with Windows Server 2016/Windows 10 3) Do we have to upgrade our hardware to be able to upgrade FluidFs to v4 (or higher)?

Hello Chris_de,
There is not an update that is available to FluidFS v4 with your current system. I am not aware of any settings that you can change in FluidFs V3 that will work with windows 2016. You will need to upgrade your hardware in order to use FluidFS v4.
Please let us know if you have any other questions.
