Error Message Question, also a Hardware Visual Inspection Question

My first question is about an error message I recently started receiving from the Array.

here it is verbatim:

Warning conditions:

  • • • [ID: 3.23] Warning: Member EQL-SAN network port, eth0, cannot be reached.  Unable to obtain network performance data for the member.
      • Condition already generated an e-mail message. If the condition persists, additional messages will be sent approximately every 6 hours.
  • • • [ID: 1.6] The group EQL-GRP was added using non WKA address. Remove and add the group using a valid Group IP Address (10.10.40.40).
  • • • The group EQL-GRP was added using non WKA address. Remove and add the group using a valid Group IP Address (10.10.40.40).

    And my other question: of the two controllers on my array one is completely dark. (no Ethernet activity) Is this a problem, and are the messages I am receiving related?
