EqualLogic Replication
Hi Guys,
Quick question and easy for you (experts) :emotion-2:
When configuring a new eql replication, I did created some schedules and planned to keep 10 replicas. When those replicas reach their limit of then, new one will be created and delete the oldest or will simple stop and I have to delete the replicas manually so that the schedule can keep creating?
Another one is....Is there anyother way to automate replication process without have to promote volume online manually on secondary equallogic array? I mean, considering its a replication, in a case I'm not on site to do this, is it possible to make volume online on secondary site, copy the IQN of the host and promote it? And When my principal site come back, the volume fail back to primary again automatically? SRM do this?
Last one... is it possible to replicate two different pools in same primary group to my secondary eql array on different pools as well?
Thanks a lot.

When the Max Keep is reached, the oldest replication will be deleted/overwritten automatically.
You can use the host scripting tools (on the firmware download page) to create a script to do this with the CLI commands.
No, when you setup the delegated space on the DR group for a replication partnership, you can only select one pool.

Replication is discussed in the user guide, you can download this at the support site (support.equallogic.com), login, then go to the FW download page, select the FW currently used for your array group members, and then on that page is a list of the documents..
Also, the online help has additional information.

Thanks Joe for the quick response.
Do you have the documentation for all the answers?
