EqualLogic PS6100 SAN NIC Gateways
Hello,
Is it possible to assign multiple default gateways using the web tools admin console to each different NIC on a PS-series SAN?
What I'm trying to accomplish is, have a dedicated 10Gb NIC going directly from SAN to a Dell R810 ESXi host, which I will host ESXi Volumes for VM's.
Please advise.
Thanks.

No, this is not possible or recommended. The storage Group must have only one gateway assigned for all iSCSI connections.
You also should never assign the host side iSCSI initiator connection directly to a single array eth interfaces as the target address. For the target address, you always assign it to the Group IP (the WKA - Well Known Adress). You do this because the Group IP will then redirect the iSCSI connection to a eth interface to A) load balance the network connections and B) if a multi-member group - to assign the connection to the array that has the volume slices.
There is a solution for attaching a 10G to an existing 1G infrastructure that you may want to review: en.community.dell.com/.../2640.deploying-mixed-1-gb-10-gb-ethernet-sans-using-dell-equallogic-storage-arrays-by-sis.aspx
