EqualLogic PS6100 firmware upgrade
Hi,
We have EqualLogic 6100 with SAS drives and would like to upgrade firmware from 5.2.2 to version 6.0.5. Is the process straightforward?
Thanks

Yes, you can go directly from 5.2.2 to 6.0.5. This is listed in the document "Updating Firmware for Dell EqualLogic" on the firmware download page.
You should also take a look at the "SCSI Initiator and Operating System Considerations", to ensure your server(s) settings still match the requirements for this firmware.

Is the Host Integration Tools for Microsoft a required installation for cluster servers and non clusters? It's main key feature is "Centralized" so I thought it would be installed on just one server to join clusters and non clusters within HIT; if so, would then RAWS be the only requirement on each individual server?
