Equallogic PS6010XV hardware snaphots triggered by DPM 2010 causing CSV signature changes
Hi all !
My name is Marcos and I hope to find someone that already experienced this same problem backing up virtual machines in a Cluster Shared Volume using Equallogic's hardware Snaphosts ...
I put a question on DPM 2010 and Hyper-V forums at http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/dpmhypervbackup/thread/0d428c9f-072d-4ba2-8a7a-d16b84078a47 some time ago and I'm starting to believe that hardware snapshots coupled with DPM 2010 are no more than myths ...
One user called Bob (I think he works for Equallogic) put an answer that gave me some hope about this subject but I unfortunately his tip didn't work and I ended up with an unusable cluster for the 5th time ...
Could someone read my initial post at technet and maybe bring some light ?
I will be very gratefull !!!

Have not used it for the last year after changing job, but then I had problems using hardware snapshots, so I skipped that and let DPM use VSS snapshots, and do sequential backup. Worked without any problems. The redirect was on for a longer time, but rather that than servers going down
