Dr4000 - Backup Exec could not connect to replica
Hi all,
I have a backup enviroment that contains 2 DR4000 units and two Backup Exec 2012 Sp2 servers. One server and a DR4000 are on the producion site. The other two are only for disaster recovery.
The disaster recovery site DR4000 contains a replica of the Cifs folder used by the backup Exec server on the production site. The problem is that i cant connect the Backup server on the DR-site to the replica cifs folder. Whatever i do i get an Permission denied error.
I can mount the CIFS on the windows operating system ( 2008R2 server) but there it is also read only.
The DR4000 joined the same domain and both backup servers using the same serviceaccount. The cifs accept connections from every system. The share permissions are everyone: full access. The file permission are \administrator : Full Control \users: full control.
Any suggestions how i can get acces to the replica share on the DR site?
lmosla

Try changing the port for BE. Backup Exec uses port 10,000. Honestly I am not familiar with your scenario but I have worked with similiar issues that were resolved by changing the port for BE to something else.
