DELL PowerVault MD3200i
HI Sir,
What is the procedure of changing the failed SAS HDD in DELL PowerVault MD3200i, that having 6*2TB SAS HDD ( 5+1 Spare) with raid 5 one hdd failed. How i can replace and solve this issue?

Hello e2cklchandra,
What you should do is to remove the failed drive and then insert the replacement drive which should be a Dell certified drive into the MD3200i. once that is done then you should be able to go into MDSM and confirm that the drive has been replaced and is online and that the rebuild is running. Once the rebuild is complete the hot spare will go back to being a hot spare.
