Dell EqualLogic PS4100E and Powerconnect 8024F
Hi!
I have just bought a PS4100E and wounder how i should connect to my Powerconnect 8024F, and join my existing group?
The PS4100E only have 2x1GbE/Controller. And the switch is SFP+ i think.

Just plug the array into any of the 24 10GbE SFP+ ports, and the 8024F will “auto-negotiate” to 1GibE, ensure you use a high quality Cat6 cable.

On the array (per controller) are 2 - 1GbE's, and on the Switch is 16 - 10GbE's. My understanding is that you just connect the two using a Cat6 cable.

Thank you Joe!
I have two 8024F switches, so i will connect all 4 for redundancy.

The minimum is to connect at least eth0 from "both" control modules to the switch. Ideally you want to connect eth1 as well (total of 4 ports on the array). This can be connected to the same switch, or a secondary switch (in the same stack) for redundancy/performance.

Hi Joe!
Sorry for not understanding. Each controller has 2x1GbE, so totally 4x1GbE
I thought i should connect all?
