Dell Equallogic PS-M4110 and M1000e FANs Speed

Hello guys,

I have the new Dell Equallogic PS-M4110 in one M1000e Chassis. The problem are on FANs Speed going from 5000 RPM if the M4110 is off, to between 7000 and 10000 RPM if the M4110 is powered on. This FANs speeds are very noisy!!!!

The Dell support in Brazil said that these rotations are normal for M4110.

Somebody have this same issue in your environment?

Sorry for my bad english! Thanks

I believe this issue was reported and that a future version of the array firmware will address the higher then normal fan speeds you are having.  For now, ensure you are running the latest version of the firmware (v6.0.5).

Yes, the version of Equallogic M4410 running is the last 6.0.5. I'm trying to join in Beta Test of Equallogic for help dev team solve this problem.
